    Director

    STEPHEN A. STANKIEWICZ (Director) is no newcomer to RCT, although Sister Act marks his directing debut with our company. His previous directing credits include Olympus On My MindWoman In BlackCamelot & Closer Than Ever. His numerous stage appearances include Rev. Shaw (Footloose), Emile DeBecque (South Pacific in Concert), the Tinman (Wizard Of Oz), John Jasper (Mystery of Edwin Drood), Mendel (Falsettos), Beadle Bamford (Sweeney Todd) and King Arthur (Camelot). He is excited to have brought this production together at RCT with the help of his awesome staff, super-talented cast, and extraordinary crew - especially his wife, Mary Susan (Stage Manager), and daughter, Sofia (Sister Mary Robert). As a member of the RCT Board of Directors, Stephen wishes to thank the organization for this opportunity, and you, our audience members, for your loyal support! He hopes that Sister Act brings us all together to support one another in our troubled times!

  • Amy Hudak

    Music Director

    Amy Hudak (Music Director) is a theater veteran with a 40+ year career in the greater Philadelphia area.  She has worked on and offstage as an actor, singer, accompanist, director and music director. Favorite productions include Jesus Christ SuperstarAugust: Osage CountyCalendar Girls, Rumors and Sweeney Todd. She sends love and gratitude to the Queen of Angels convent, these fabulous musicians and her three Ds.

  • Helen Veet

    Choreographer

    Helen Veet (Choreographer) is excited to make her debut with Reading Civic Theatre as choreographer for Sister Act the Musical.  Helen has trained extensively in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, modern, and theatre dance, bringing a dynamic and versatile approach to musical theatre choreography. She currently teaches tap dance at Allegro Dance and continues her training in all dance  with Tap Ties and Kutztown Dance Center. Helen has spent the past ten years working with Berks Catholic High School on their musical productions, including High School Musical, Thoroughly Modern MillieGodspellXanaduShrekCinderella, Singin in the Rain,The Little Mermaid, and Annie. Helen is thrilled to collaborate with the talented cast and creative team and hopes audiences enjoy the energy and joy of the show.
