Saturday's performance is made possible by a bequest from Paul H. Gery, Reading High class of 1949. Mr Gery had always been a great lover of live theater. He did some acting (not so much singing...) and a bit of work as a critic. Mostly he did a lot of supporting and being an audience member. He was the first in his family to graduate from high school, and so, knew the value of the opportunities RHS provided him. He continued to attend reunions for many years, and kept in touch with some of his friends in Reading until his death in 2015.
