Imagine Air Theater is an anthology series of audio plays created by Terry Phillips, and performed by a troupe of actors working "together" from different venues around the United States. We tell stories of the world as it might have been, the world as it could be. Sometimes inspiring tales, sometimes cautionary tales.
Imagine Air Theater is inspired by classic radio dramas from the 1930s and 1940s — plus such anthology television shows as The Twilight Zone and Studio One. Each episode is a short play complete with music and sound effects.
Imagine Air Theater has the feel of yesterday, with stories about today — and a glimpse into what may lie ahead. Think of it as futuristic nostalgia. These plays run the gamut from serious dramas to dark comedies.
"Imagine Air Theater takes place in the magical world between your ears," says producer/director Phillips. "What you hear is what you see."
Imagine Air Theater is available on podcast platforms (Spotify, TuneIn Radio, Apple Podcasts, etc.), on YouTube and on our website. There is no limit to what can happen on the stage of imagination. It's all in your head.
