as The Cat in the Hat

Daymon Reidhead is thrilled to be back on Red Mountain’s stage playing such a creative role. You may have seen him previously play roles like Levi in Limelight Production’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat or Red Mountain’s production of Disney’s High School Musical. During this past year, Daymon has had the opportunity to learn and hone his skills in all aspects of theater and plans to further his education in college by majoring in Scenic Design. He is thankful that he’s able to contribute to Seussical as a performer and tech and to work with his mentors Mr. Erickson, Mrs. Decoste, and Ms. Pavkov. Daymon is excited to end the year with such a wacky role and is stoked to be a part of a show that has been built with collaborative passion. He would like to thank his friends and family for being consistently supportive of his adventures and endeavors, and he is excited to see the places he’ll go in the future.

    Railand Carpenter

    as Horton the Elephant

Railand Carpenter is honored to be playing Horton in Red Mountain High School’s spring production of Seussical. You may recognize him from his roles as Zeke Baylor in High School Musical and Dan Dad and Olive’s Dad in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He has been involved with theatre for all four years of his high school career and intends to continue pursuing a career in the performing arts. When he’s not chasing the Whos or sitting on an egg, Railand spends a lot of time socializing as well as exploring graphic design. He’s very thankful for the experiences he’s had under the direction of  theatre director, Matthew Erickson, choir director, Lindsay Decoste, and choreographer, Emily Pavkov, and is excited to take the next steps in his life.
