    During his High School years, he has fully devoted himself to theatre and the growth of our program.

    He has been in productions since his 8th-grade year when he played "Fred" in A Chirstmas Carol.

    Trevor says, "High school theatre has definitely played a crucial role in shaping who I am as an artist and person. I plan on taking my love of theatre to college to pursue a theatrical education and earn my BFA and hopefully my MFA in theatre arts."

    During high school, Ty had enjoyed choir and theater classes.   After high school, he plans to work for a few years before going to college.   

    Ty says, "Honestly high school theatre has helped me gain some confidence in myself."

    During his career here at RHS Jorge played "Cairo Fred" in The Pink Panther Strikes Again,  "Monsieru D'Arque" in Beauty and The Beast, "Dr. Einstein" in Arsenic and Old Lace (Casted as Dr. Einstein), and "Gossip" in Sense and Sensibility. He lettered as a Thespian in his sophomore year. After high school Jorge plans to study accounting and continue in theatre by joining the local theatre scene.

    Jorge says, "The Redmond Theatre Company helped me to gain a sense of commitment and confidence, which I lacked as a sophomore."

    Laynie has been in the band, choir, theatre, and sports, in high school. Laynie played "Belle" in Beauty and the Beast, and "Lucy" in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. She plans to attend OSU, majoring in Music and minoring in Vocal Performance.

    Laynie says, "High school theatre means art in schools hasn't died, and people enjoy the thrill of live performance."
