Thank you so much for coming to our production of The Addams Family: A New Musical - School Edition! It has been wonderful to work together again and stage a major LIVE production on the LOLHS stage.
Many of you may remember - or have seen episodes of - the 1960s sitcom "The Addams Family" and remember the creepy, kooky mannerisms of America's darkest family. Many of the characters and mannerisms of that iconic television show are recalled in the musical version, with some new twists and alterations! But for all their obsession with the dark and sorrowful, it is the concept of family that lies at the heart of The Addams Family.
To my creative team and all the cast, pit orchestra, and crew students: we have become our own kind of family by working collaboratively on this project and I would like to thank all of you for your time, talent, energy, and dedication. You have taken my vision for this show and surpassed my expectations.
I am just so incredibly proud of this production, and I hope everyone enjoys the show!
