Renaissance Players

 Director's Notes

Anna Dreslinski, along with the entire team of Renaissance Players, would like to give special thanks to the many people who helped to make this production a success.

First, I would like to thank Kim Dennis for her leadership and support of the arts in every capacity. This program exists because of Kim and her tireless efforts to give every child an opportunity for excellence. In addition, this program continues to exist thanks to Victoria Caherty and her dedication to the largest and smallest of details. To both of you, I will never be able to express how much gratitude I have for you and gratitude for the skills you have chosen to share with me as well as with all of the students who walk through the RA doors.

To Christy, you are the glue that keeps us together, thank you for managing to organize the chaos.

To Aubrey, your consistent excellence towards the costuming of our productions does not go unnoticed, and you carry each piece with such pride and grace, we wouldn’t know what to do without you.

To Katie, the wigs looked great and thank you for always having those beards in place!

To Jessica Glandon - due to your tireless work on fundraising, our budget is in great shape and our families benefitted from all of your fun ideas. Thank you!

To Alex & Jessica Thomas, thank you for your time and instruction in creating the many detailed pieces of our set. All of the set design students work so hard to make our scenes come to life under your guidance.

To all the parents on their respective committees, thank you for all of the time that you have invested not only into the RP program, but the time you have invested into making these beautiful young people into talented, passionate, hard working, respectful humans. It is a true joy to work with your children.

To Spotlight Players, thank you for your continued support of our RP program by giving us access to the many tools and casters that make our production run smoothly.

To Sue Thomas, thank you for letting us use the buggy, and bringing our production into a new realm of realism through its use. https://equinehealthline.com/

To St. John Lutheran Church for giving RP a beautiful space to rehearse each week.

To our seniors, Carmen, Cherilyn, Ethan, Helen, Jacob, Sophie, I am so thankful for the time and years we have spent together. We send you onto your next journey with all the love and support we can give, and we are so excited to see how you impact the world next. Thank you for impacting ours.
