In the Heights - April 16 - April 19, 2014

Rialto High School

 End Notes

Directors' Note

“In the Heights,” is our number one dream show!  We have wanted to stage this show for a very long time. We love the music and the message. When we found out it was available for high school performances, we jumped at the chance.

A high school has a limited pool of people to choose from when casting a musical. Our philosophy when we pick a musical is, “If we chose it, they will come.” That philosophy certainly held true for this production. Collectively, we probably have the most vocally talented cast we have ever had. They have been dedicated and a joy to work with. This cast has worked diligently everyday to bring our vision to life. We are so proud of these young performers as well as this amazing show!

To our principal, Arnie Ayala, thank you so much for your support. To our assistant principals and the Rialto high school staff, we appreciate your support and understanding especially when things get a little hectic.

To the parents, thank you for supporting your talented children.   We know making that extra trip back and forth from rehearsals and performances is not easy but, your efforts enrich their lives for the future. If not for your continued support of your child’s passions, our production would not have been possible.

Well, now is the time we have all been waiting for, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
