What a wonderful opportunity to work with author Mark Twain, one of America's, if not the world's, greatest humorists. He brings insight to humanity with a bit of a smile. And if there is anything that needs to be smiled at, it is humanity.
Most of us know the Bible's first chapter, but there are some big gaps in that story. After all, what did Adam and Eve say to each other when they first met? How do they fall in love and raise a family? How did they figure all that out?
Twain gives us a wry look at the first man and woman and their love story. It is perhaps, the preeminent story ever told since we continue to replay it over and over again.
Thankfully, putting this show together gave me the opportunity to work with two very special people that also happen to be good actors! What else can a director want?
