as Malcolm
is delighted to be back with Richmond Shakespeare and is beyond humbled to be in the company of such tremendously talented artists. A lawyer by day and actor by night, you may have seen Joel in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, Pride and Prejudice, The Comedy of Errors, or Cyrano de Bergerac. Joel also recently played a total of 20 characters in Baskerville and Moriarty with Virginia Repertory Theatre. Love always to Rachel, and to you for patronizing the arts.

Patrick Rooney
as Banquo; Doctor
is an actor, singer, musician based in Richmond, VA. Previous credits include: A Christmas Carol, Waitress, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Ken Ludwig’s Moriarty (Virginia Rep); Buried Child, Roman á Clef (Firehouse Theatre); Straight White Men (TheatreLab). Rooney also performs with the Celtic music ensemble, Poisoned Dwarf, as well as the dream-folk band, The Potted Plants. He’d like to express his profound gratitude to his beautiful wife, Claire.

He earned an MFA from UNC Chapel Hill and a BA from VCU.
