Anthony S. Goolsby ("Tyriq Owens")
Anthony S. Goolsby is honored to be apart of Rising Sage Theatre’s Brothers of Affliction. He has been acting professionally for 7 years. He has done various commercials (DIY Network, AutoTrader on TNT), television shows (The Game, Meet the Browns), films (Timing, 42) and theatre (A Thousand Circlets, The Minotaur). He produces and stars in the Corporate Brother X series and has various projects in the works. He thanks his parents for upbringing him, his brothers for their support, David for his mentorship, and Janel for her encouragement. His daughter Trinity is his inspiration, muse and role model.

Carlus Houston ("Shane Owens")
Acting in numerous stage plays while at Alabama A&M University, Mr. Houston’s career took a turn for television and film obtaining principal roles in numerous commercials and music videos. In 2007, Carlus co-wrote and produced the film, Losing Ground and many other independent film projects. Carlus is always excited for the opportunity to perform regardless of the medium or audience.

Kerwin V. Thompson ("Chris Owens")
Kerwin is thrilled to reunite with Rising Sage Theatre (previously in CrazyAnity) to be part of Brothers of Affliction. He is driven to use his talent not just to entertain but to enlighten/touch the souls of audience members. Kerwin was trained by the Freddie Hendricks Youth Ensemble of Atlanta (YEA) and the Alliance Theater. He has recently been featured in Mama Bear by Sharon Harris Warrick, Colored Lodging and The Passing of Fatha Thyme (National Black Theatre Festival), A Piece of My Mind!... by Ron McIntyre, and On a Clear Day At the Carwash by Mia Kristin Smith (Ft. Wayne, IN Fringe Festival). Kerwin thanks his family, friends, Enoch King, and Christine Horn for their love and support.
