Chad Goebel
as Spencer Pierce
This is Chad’s second time performing in It’s a Scream! In 2016, he played Maxie under the direction of Craig Row. He has performed in multiple productions with the Ritz community theater since then. Highlights of his time on stage were his performance as Michael in God of Carnage in the 2019 Texas Non-Profit Theatre Association’s Quad Fest, where he was chosen as part of the All-Star Cast. He directed The Addams Family this last summer, in which he played Gomez Addams. Goebel works for The Snyder News as the lead reporter and editor. “I would like to thank Craig Row for taking a chance on some strange guy that showed up to auditions; after working with you on just one show, I wish we could have had more time. I know our odd creative minds would have done something epic or disastrous. Either way, it would have been fun.” Goebel has been a board member with The Ritz since 2018 and was recently elected president in August.

Emily Simmons
as Maria Yocknestor
Emily loves being a part of the Ritz family, and has been part of many shows here, includingClue, Blythe Spirit, Drinking Habits, and The Addams Family. In her other life, she is a mailcarrier and caretaker for a large menagerie of cats and dogs in Roscoe. She is married to DonSimmons, and is happy to be in their first show together. She would like to thank Peanut, Pickle,Freddie, Oscar, Henrietta, Jack Jack, Hansel, Gretel, Krusty, Bongo, Oliver, and Dakota for allof the warmth and cuddles.

Don Simmons
as Maxie
Don Simmons would like to thank the Ritz and its members for accommodating his first performance on stage since singing “The 50 States in Rhyme” in middle school thirty-five years ago. It has been a challenging and rewarding experience. Don has a degree in chemistry, and is an Instrument Technician at Buzzi Unicem USA. He is married to Emily Simmons.
