  • Nia Lancelin Brantly

    Director/Choreographer

    Nia is a dancer, singer, actor originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She received her BA in Theatre and Dance from Spelman College. She currently works as an instructor at Brooklyn Ballet, serves as choreographer and assistant director for Democracy Prep Charter Schools, and has worked in many capacities with the amazing Riverdale Children's Theatre. She is so proud of the cast of Jungle Book!

  • Paul Loman

    Music Director

    is a music director, teacher, pianist, and organist who works in New York City and Westchester County. In addition to private piano and voice students, Paul teaches elementary and middle school music and directs an adult and children's choir at St. Ann's Parish in Yonkers. He works with children in theatre at RCT and White Plains Performing Arts Center. Paul studied music at James Madison in VA.

  • Julie Kaminski

    Assistant Director

    Julie has worked with RCT as a production assistant, stage manager, and assistant director. She got her start in RKA/RCCs Teen Theater program and graduated from Boston University. She has been working with RCT since the summer of 2010 - and has worked on a myriad of shows with the RCT family since then. Julie also works as an Assistant Manager at Biscuits & Bath - a doggy daycare in Manhattan.

  • Priscilla Blanco

    Stage Manager

    is a senior at Riverdale Kingsbridge Academy and is so excited to be working on Jungle Book. Priscilla has participated in various RCT shows and is glad to be working with these amazingly talented young kids. She would like to thank Nia, Paul, Julie, and Becky for putting together yet another great show.

  • Derek Woods

    Technical Director

    Derek and wife Becky Lillie Woods founded The Riverdale Children's Theatre in 2010. Since then RCT has produced over 40 full stage productions, touching the lives of hundreds of families in the Bronx and beyond. Among his other credits, he received an Emmy nomination in 2010 as the writer and director of the acclaimed documentary “Memory Brings Us Back: Irish Stories of Farewells and Fortunes.”
