JACK DAMON

Jack is extremely grateful for the musical opportunities that Riverdale, particularly the TDF department, has afforded him. From Chicago his sophomore year, to Urinetown his junior year, to playing cello in the pit orchestra for Matilda when scheduling wouldn't allow him to perform as an actor in the musical his senior year, he would like to give the greatest of thanks to Ms. Desmond, Ms. Frare, Mr. Walker, and Mr. Perry for always thinking of him. Giving him the chance to sing, act, play cello, compose music, and create collaborative art are things that have truly fed his soul during his time at Riverdale. Jack has been additionally lucky to study acting and singing at Riverdale alongside some amazing friends and colleagues, in particular his awesomely-talented actor/singer and younger sister, Izzy. Jack will miss performing with her, having class with her, and frankly, having the opportunity to embarrass her a little bit because that's what older siblings are supposed to do.
Thank you again to Riverdale, to TDF, to TDF seniors (Alexis, Celine, Emily, Ife, Lauren) and, most importantly, to Jack's supportive family. Jack will absolutely keep in touch (and come back to see Izzy in future Riverdale productions) as he continues his academic and musical studies in the Harvard (BA/BS) and New England Conservatory (MM) 5-year Dual Degree program where he will most likely study physics, linguistics, and math alongside music composition.
