Puffs - February 20 - February 24, 2020

Riverton High School

 DIRECTOR'S NOTE

I first saw this play off-Broadway in the summer of 2018. There was quite a bit of buzz about this play, and about the Broadway opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Tonight you'll hear a few references to that other play, but the real fun is this delightful love letter to Potterheads and to JK Rowling and her amazing creation.

This play is so well written it almost directs itself. My students and I have thoroughly enjoyed the hilarious creative process of exploring these characters and staging this story. So even if you aren't a huge Hogwarts fan, you will still be able to appreciate the lovely, deeper message of the magic we can find together in laughter and love. Which is why, after 22 years, I continue to enjoy creating theatre with high school actors.

We sincerely hope you will enjoy PUFFS! tonight. Thank you for supporting us in our dreams!
