Rome Shakespeare Festival

  Who's Who

  • Drew Davidson head shot

    Drew Davidson

    Director

Drew is very grateful to be blessed with such a fantastic team of actors, technicians, and staff at the Rome Shakespeare Festival. He recently directed RSF's production of [title of show]As You Like It, and R & J & Z, as well as Shorter University's production of Cinderella, and The Importance of Being Earnest. Drew holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a BFA in Theatre Performance from Northern Kentucky University. For fun, Drew plays chess and pickleball. These three things guide Drew as an artist: making theatre, supporting artists, and serving the community. He hopes to grow RSF into a large professional regional theatre with your help!

  • Evan Brackett head shot

    Evan Brackett

    Technical Director

Evan has been an active member of the technical theatre industry for over ten years. He’s spent time in nearly every technical aspect of the theatrical process, most notably as a lighting and scenic designer, and TD. He is a Rome local and has been working with RSF since its founding in 2016, bringing with him a broad base of technical skills and knowledge.

  • Julie McCluskey head shot

    Julie McCluskey

    Stage Manager

Alongside her role as Executive Director for Rome Shakespeare Festival, Julie has enjoyed being Stage Manager for this cast. First and foremost an actor, Julie wears many hats in this organization, and loves being a part of this team. Rome is full of sensational talent, and it brings her immense joy to help show it off.

  • Kiley Branam head shot

    Kiley Branam

    Assistant Stage Manager

Kiley is a freshman BFA major at Shorter University. Most recently, she was Assistant Stage Manager for The Importance of Being Earnest and Songs for a New World at Shorter. This past year she was in her high school productions of You Can’t Take it with You (Penny) and Hairspray (Brenda/Kamilah). She wants to thank her parents and sister for supporting her decision to pursue theatre. Her favorite season is Christmas Season, and there is no better way to get it kicked off than with this show! Enjoy!
