It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the Roselle Park High School Theatre Department! Our stage has long been a place where creativity, collaboration, and community come together to tell meaningful stories. For generations of students, performing here has been a rite of passage—a place where friendships, confidence, and lifelong memories are formed.
This year, we celebrate the joy, music, and heart of Mamma Mia, a story that reminds us how a woman can thrive when she is surrounded by a community of family and friends who lift her up, support her choices, and help her dance through life’s challenges. Donna’s strength shines brightest because of the unwavering love and care from her friends, just as Sophie’s journey is guided by those who believe in her. In the same way, our students flourish when their peers, teachers, families, and the RPHS community encourage them to embrace every moment, take risks, and sing their own story.
Returning to this stage as Director is a deeply meaningful experience for me. My journey with RPHS Theatre began right here on this stage in You Can’t Take It With You, and to now guide a new generation of performers forward feels like a true full-circle moment. Watching our students commit to excellence and shine together reminds me that theatre—like life—is best when shared with those who support you.
To our students, thank you for your courage, creativity, and willingness to trust each other on stage. To our families, staff, and community supporters, your belief in our program helps keep the magic alive. Together, we celebrate every laugh, every note, and every shared moment that makes RPHS Theatre a home for artistry and friendship.
We are thrilled to share this story with you—“thank YOU for the music.”
Best,
Ms Mo
