Clue: On Stage (High School Edition) - April 24 - April 25, 2024

Royal St. George's College

    Director's Note

Clue is a wacky, slapstick, hilarious murder mystery. This year's cast has floored me with their talent, dedication, and glorious sense of humour. They have worked tirelessly to be catapulted into the wacky world we created for Clue. I am so proud of the actors and their ability to learn extensive blocking and hone their comedic timing. These artists are true professionals and the reason we can share this story with the RSGC community.

I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to our crew. This production would have been impossible had it not been for their hard work and dedication to light our actors and give us a phenomenal soundtrack for the show.

Special thanks to our resident tech expert, Mr. Troy Lebane, who helped get our sound and lighting systems working perfectly, and Ms. Emily Johnson, for assisting with costuming our actors and being our lead on the Front of House.

Huge thanks to Ms. Leanne Mladen for lending her artistic talents in creating props (including our portrait of Lord Boddy) and painting our main set piece.

I would like to thank some special colleagues for donating props and set pieces for this show: Ms. Sanaz Ghoreshy, Ms. Anna Magor, and Ms. Emma Totten.

Special thanks to Michael Britt ‘27 for creating the beautiful program you are holding in your hands right now.

I would like to thank our Head of Senior School, Mr. Paul O'Leary, and our Director of Teaching and Learning, Mr. Michael Ruscitti, for their guidance throughout this process. I would also like to thank our Headmaster, Mr. Stephen Beatty, for consistently supporting theatre at RSGC.

Finally, I need to thank the cast. We have a wonderfully talented group of young artists who have sacrificed so much time and energy over these last few months. It was a pleasure to work with all of you.

Break a leg!
