Scenes From A Quarantine - May 07

Rugby Middle School

 End Notes

I am extremely proud of this very different production. I am grateful to Mr. Scott Moore, Mrs. Suzanne Meadows, and Mr. Justin McKenzie for all their support in getting this going. I am also grateful to Mrs. Jamie Johnson and all the other coaches for their flexibility! This has been an insanely wacky year to say the least. I am so very proud of these students. Not only have they created something they can be proud of, they did it under very difficult circumstances. Some students couldn't come to school to rehearse. Some students rehearsed here AND at home. Some students had to rehearse here then film at home or vice versa. In a confusing, messy, mixed-up world, they created a beautiful piece of art. I sincerely hope you enjoy our effort.    -Mrs. Heather Denton

To everyone who worked on "Scenes from a Quarantine", congratulations: you have successfully performed a show in probably one of the weirdest situations imaginable, and you did a fantastic job! I am so proud of you for all the work you have done and the stories you have been able to tell. Thank you all for letting me learn alongside you and try out new things. No rehearsal was like the last, the unexpected became expected, and you all rolled with everything admirably like true theater artists have to. I am so proud of you for all the passion and excitement you brought to rehearsals and performances that helped remind me why it is that we do this....because it's fun! And I've had a lot of fun with you all. Keep up the good work, and thank you again!     -Ms. Rebecca Boyce
