DIRECTOR NOTES
River City, Iowa, is where the rural folks of an all American, early 20th-century town meet the quintessentially American character: the charming con artist. Harold Hill is the classic flimflam man and the scam he runs on the innocent citizens of the town is a classic! A hugely successful Broadway run, a classic film version and numerous revivals and regional productions have helped make this show a true musical theatre classic and favorite of audiences world-wide.
It takes a community to mount a production such as this. I am so pleased to be working again with our team of designers, crew, choreographer, actors and musicians. We’ve added some new faces to our growing theatre family again this year and we are so pleased to share this experience with them.
