  • Scott Harris

    Director

    is the Theatre Director for Rye Neck High School and Middle School. Scott began acting when he tried out for the musical Sugar as a high school freshman. After graduating from Penn State University, he became a professional actor, performing in musicals and plays all over the country, including national tours, regional theatre, and Off-Broadway. He has appeared on TV, in feature films, and in commercials. He is a member of Actors Equity and the Screen Actors Guild. He received his Masters degree in Theatre/Playwriting from Texas State University, and is now in his seventh year at Rye Neck. He teaches MS & HS acting courses, Theatre Technology, Musical Theatre, and HS Chorus. He is the advisor to the Thespians and the Glee Club. Scott directs the HS & MS musicals, and initiated and directs the Fall plays at Rye Neck. Thanks to Kathryn, Fran, Karen, and Cindy. And especially to his beautiful new wife Mary.

  • Francesca DeAngelo

    Choreographer

    is the owner/artistic director of New York Dance. She is a renowned dance teacher, choreographer/company director with 35+ years of experience. She’s traveled throughout Europe and the Middle East as a performer/master teacher and continues to delight children and adults with her dynamic classes. She has choreographed over 35 musicals for KJK Productions, NYD Summer Theatre, Creative Summer Theatre, and several Broadway Star Benefits presented in the NY area. Credits include Rye Neck’s Damn Yankees (Best Production Number Nomination), Grease (Best Choreographer Metro Nomination). Archbishop Stepinac HS’s Billy Elliot (Choreography Nomination), Sister Act (Choreography Metro Winner), Hunchback of Notre Dame (Best Overall Production Win), Newsies (NY Regional HS Premier), Ragtime, and A Bronx Tale (USA Premiere). Her students have performed at world-class venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, and the London 2012 Olympic Invitational.
