A Note from our Creative Director
Good Evening, and welcome to SAJ Dance Productions' 10th Annual performance of The Nutcracker.
The dancers before you tonight have been working long and hard hours. They have sacrificed personal time and have dedicated themselves to their craft. Their dedication shows their love for the art of dance. Being a mentor and teacher to them all makes me proud and thankful.
Our dancer's respect for leadership and their craft is unparalleled. We require our students to be dedicated to their studio and each other. They learn bonding skills, respect for themselves, and commitment to a group.
We are proud of the fact that our shows are not recitals. They are productions. They are bigger and more complex shows, helping our dancers learn what professional performances feel like.
The staff has pushed students to their fullest potential, opened their minds to new perspectives, and helped them grow as people, not just dancers.
The near future promises more growth and more programs. We upgraded the retail area to include an online store.
PLEASE REMEMBER FOR THE COMFORT OF THOSE AROUND YOU AND THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN. WE DO NOT PERMIT VIDEOGRAPHY OR PHOTOGRAPHY OF THE CHILD WHILE THEY ARE PERFORMING.
We thank you for sharing your holiday season and choosing SAJ as your Christmas entertainment. Please help me welcome the dancers of SAJDP as they perform their 8th annual performance of The Nutcracker.
Dance to express, not to impress,
xx Miss Stephanie
