A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR:
2026 was a new adventure in directing because we had no middle school participants in the musical this year. The younger, smaller cast added a new challenge in directing and choreographing... but these kids, as they always do, stepped up and made it happen. I am so proud of each and every one of these fabulous performers.
Some of our oldest performers (in 5th grade) I have had the joy of working with since they were in 2nd grade and it's so much fun to see their personalities shift over the years and their talent explode. Salem is blessed to have such wonderful talent in its school.
I hope if these young perfomers leave this musical with nothing else, they feel more confident in themselves and know they have permission to be BIG, BOLD and CRINGEY!
