Payton Powell
as Lubov Papusza
Payton Powell is a SUNY Sullivan alumni and is currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Law. Law school by day, theater artist by night! She has been a part of this program for five years now. Her most notable SUNY Sullivan productions include: ASSASSINS as the Balladeer/Marina Harvey Oswald/Sound Designer, MARSHALL COUNTY LINE as MaryAnne LaGrange, WORKING as Kate Rushton/Tom Patrick/Assistant Director, ANGELS IN AMERICA as Harper Porter Pitt, and, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH as Yitzhak. Payton has been a part of the development of Lorca since playwright Nick Lopez introduced it to the theater program. She has a very special connection with her character Lubov. She would also like to give a huge shoutout to Bradley, Nick, Jess, Julia, and especially her boyfriend Bobby, and the rest of the cast! Enjoy the show, stay safe, and WEAR YOUR MASKS.

Julia Kehrley
as Breasha Popov
Julia is a proud alumni of the SUNY Sullivan Theatre Program. Julia graduated from Sullivan in 2018 with an AA in Theatre Arts and then studied at SUNY New Paltz where she received a BA in Theatre in 2020. Previous shows at SUNY Sullivan include MARSHALL COUNTY LINE, WORKING, HOUSE OF DESIRES, and ANGELS IN AMERICA. Julia has had the honor of playing Breasha Popov for two previous readings of LORCA EATS BULLETS, and she is so excited that the company can move the storytelling to the stage. Julia would like to express her gratitude to the Barkl-Lopez family, JJ Devis, Payton Powell, and Mom, Suzy, and Angie.

Nick López
as Demyan
Nick López is an Adjunct Professor of Theater and Speech at SUNY Sullivan. He is an actor, director, designer, and cartoonist. He has performed and directed in New York, New Mexico, Washington State, and West Virginia. He has BA in Theater from the University of New Mexico and an MFA in Performance from West Virginia University.
