  • Jeremiah J. Kraniak head shot

    Jeremiah J. Kraniak

    Local conductor and native of New Haven, MI, Jeremiah Kraniak holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Education from Saginaw Valley State University. In addition to his appointment as the Music Director for the SCS, he is pursuing a M.M. in conducting from Central Michigan University and participates in many acclaimed clinics and conferences throughout the year.

    Catherine McMichael

    Catherine McMichael, pianist, composer, arranger, teacher, and clinician has had a friendly association with the Saginaw Choral Society since 1981. Catherine’s B.M. in piano performance and M.M. in chamber music are from the University of Michigan. In addition to the SCS, Catherine is the pianist/arranger/composer for the Bijou Orchestra in Bay City and the River Raisin Ragtime Revue in Ann Arbor.

    Michael Brush

    Michael Brush is most recognized as a jazz and blues pianist, music educator, and composer. His fifty-year musical history extends back to the garage band era band, “the Paupers” and has continued to his current group, “Brush Street featuring Julie Mulady.” He has devoted his talents to many personal, educational, collaborative, and community-centered projects over the years. Mike served as a music educator in the Saginaw Public Schools from 1978 through 2010. He has produced four CD's as well as an educational classroom guide set.

  • Madalyn McHugh head shot

    Madalyn McHugh

    Recording artist, Madalyn McHugh from Caro, MI, currently attends Saginaw Valley State University, where she is pursuing a career in Classical Music. Madalyn recorded her first CD at one of Nashville Tennessee’s most prestigious studios, Darkhorse, in 2010. Following her CD release Madalyn spent a year touring her home state at a variety of festivals, concerts, and special events. She received extensive radio play from around the country and one of her tracks, “This Side of Love,” was added to the Soft AC Inspirational “Most Added” chart in Billboard Magazine.
