Dear Families and Friends,
Thank for joining us for St. John’s Villa production of “High School Musical.”
This year’s production is under the direction of two Villa Alumni, Ms. Samantha Hermansen ‘08 Director, and Ms. Maria Elena Rumayor ‘12 Assistant Director. Mr. Robert Butler is our Musical director. They have inspired our students to be their very best both on and off the stage.
Their talent and vision allow our musical productions to reach the highest caliber that Villa has been known for.
Theater and Musicals have been part of Villa for many years, and although this is our last full production, the legacy will go on forever. We are proud of the past performances by many fantastic directors. I want to thank each of these directors personally. Today that tradition of excellence continues with this performance of “High School Musical.” The quality and level of performances along with craftsmanship for this production is as good as any professional show.
Many thanks, to our cast and crew for sharing their talents with us. I would like to thank our parents and the Drama Mamas in particular, for their support and dedication. You should be proud of your daughters and sons on this incredible accomplishment. Thank you to Mrs. Sklenar and Sr. Liceria. They have worked very hard with tickets and assisting our usherettes. To those who worked on the amazing set design and in a special way Mr. Karnstski, Mr. Darrap along with our student stage crew members, thank you for creating such an excellent stage. To Ms. Delgado who worked behind the scene to be sure everything went smoothly.
I am so very proud of all the Directors and students for making this final production a memory that will last forever. In a special way, we ask God’s blessings on all of our faculty, students, and families. "We are all in this together."
