A friend once told me “Don’t say goodbye, it’s see you later…..” It always feels like more time passes in between shows. This was totally magnified by the “Covid-19” event. However, it doesn’t shock me that we were somehow able to pull it off. As the cast worked to put their “school lives” back in order and do the normal things that were taken away from them, they struggled with the perceived over-load of schoolwork, sports, academic clubs and extra-curricular clubs such as Drama. At the end of the day, they came through to put on its first, and hopefully only Virtual Performance.
Congratulations to the whole cast, crew and pit! I would especially like to thank Rachel Dipko and Brittany Lewis for spending hours painting and helping out as much as they could. You are prime examples of being leaders. Remember cast: Real leaders don’t speak. Leaders put thoughtfulness and vision into ACTION!!
