NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR
Thank you for joining us on the beautiful journey that is Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
You will notice that it's not quite the same as Disney's version, but this version of Cinderella touched my heart because the central theme is KINDNESS. Kindness is so important that it's mentioned in the Bible 56 times - in prayers, in blessings, and we are even told to "clothe" ourselves in it. In Colossions 3:12, it says "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, KINDNESS, humility, gentleness and patience." What a lovely thing! Imagine what a world it would be if we were all "clothed" in kindness. :)
I am so proud of these students that took on an intricate and demanding show and put their heart and soul into it to bring such a dazzling story to life. They took to heart that, just like in Cinderella, something that seems impossible can be possible, and they stepped up in every facet to perform a show of excellence!
