Drew Kallen-Keck
as Gordon (and o’Reilly)
Drew’s mother will swear that she always knew Drew would be an actor, based on his behavior at the dinner table when brussel sprouts were being served. He started in theatre in Billings, Montana, as Rolph in The Sound of Music and Otto von Bruno in Bullshot Crummond. Drew attended Montana State University’s Media and Theatre Arts program. He was involved in many University productions such as Rumors and Talley's Folly, as well as directing student films and a production of The Curate Shakespeare's “As You Like It”. After college, Drew moved to Phoenix, and became involved in The Actor’s Renaissance Theatre. After his day job moved him to Tucson, he jumped into local stage work, with roles as Leonard in “The Dover Road”, Morell in “Candida” and Dr Watson in many Sherlock Holmes productions. Kristen Kallen-Keck
as Mrs. Reece (and Clarissa, Regine, Leticia, Mr. Goodbody and Patricia)
Kristen wanted to take drama class in Junior High, but they wouldn’t let her join til 8th grade, so she took choir instead. But in High School, she was involved in productions of Twelfth Night and The Matchmaker. After high school, she took a hiatus from theatre as she studied for a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, eventually working at the University of Arizona as an Analytical Chemist. Deciding at some point to return to theatre, she starting working at The Comedy Playhouse, performing roles in such shows as “Pain in the Aunt”, “Mr Pim Passes By” and as Ernestine in a Gender-swapped “The Importance of Being Ernest”. She also got rave reviews as Weezer in “Steel Magnolias” Lately, Kristen has become quite the renaissance woman; painting, creating jewelry, writing, doing voice-over for various projects and narrating Audio-books. This is Karen's fifth show with Shoestring Players. She's best known for her portrayal of Major-General Stanley in the Pirates of Penzance. She hopes you have as much fun watching this show as she's had rehearsing it!
