Miss K. is this production’s extremely proud director. This is her eighth year directing shows at SVHS & her third year as the official drama teacher! She feels like she has found her passion working with these very talented students & is grateful every day for the opportunity. During her time here she has directed many shows including Little Shop of Horrors, Rumors, Chicago, You Can’t Take It With You, Anything Goes, The Addams Family, The Curious Savage, & most recently Newsies. Kendra is a proud alumni of SVHS & since graduating in 2012, she has received an AA degree in Theatre Arts from Cabrillo College, her BA in Theatre Arts & teaching credential from San Jose State. She would like to thank her tech crew & cast for their admirable determination, & her amazing co-director, Arizona, who’s natural directing talents & ability to connect with the script made this show possible. As always, she would like to dedicate the show to her incredible dad, Ken ❤

Jack "Arizona" McHatton

Heyo! My name is Jack McHatton, though I am better known by my nickname, Arizona. I am the student director of this production, so I worked closely with Ms. Kendra Kannegaard throughout the entire process. It has been such a strange and wonderful experience creating a show during the pandemic. Among other things, the challenges have made me take to heart the saying, “The show must go on!” I would like to thank my family for being so supportive, and my lovely peers on and off camera who worked with me at my best and worst. But most of all, I want to thank Ms. Kendra Kannegaard, who has helped me grow as a director and fuel my passion for the arts, giving me the courage to pursue it as a career. I hope the show helps you to relax and to love during these stressful times. Cheers.
