  • Kiefer Schenk head shot

    Kiefer Schenk

    as Tom Beatty

Kiefer Schenk is an actor and voice over artist based in Rochester, NY. This production is his first with Seneca Community Players, though he has found homes in several other companies in and around the Rochester area. Like many others, he hasn’t had much opportunity to share a stage lately, but he has recently been a part of virtual productions including Geneva Theatre Guild’s live online production of A Christmas Carol, as well as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Fireside Gothics, two serialized online productions presented by WallByrd Theatre Co. Some of his favorite stage roles include “Sir Robin” in SPAMALOT, “Clown” in The 39 Steps, and “Einstein” in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Kiefer is inspired by the energy that this group has brought to this production and is ready to give the cemetery-as-a-stage concept a real go at it.

This will be Lauren's first production with SCP, though she is part of many theater families across New England.  Lauren has received nominations from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for her performance as Dotty Otley in Noise’s Off (Dibden Center for the Arts). As well as a New Hampshire Theater Alliance nomination for her performance as Queen Elizabeth in Shakespeare in Love (Amplified Arts). Some of her most recent roles include Florina Sterling in A Virtual Whodunnit  (Walpole Footlighters) Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (Just the Players) and Dr. Martha Livingston in Agnes of God (Amplified Arts).  Lauren is known for her Halloween Spirit and is often dressed as famous red haired characters, her most recent being Winny Sanderson from Hocus Pocus.  In her spare time Lauren enjoys board games, coffee, true crime, wine, and being a dog mom. Lauren is also a makeup artist and volunteers her spare time at her local dog rescue.
