    is very excited to share this incredible piece with friends, family, and many others. He has been working on bringing the work to fruition for three years and is ecstatic to finally bring this to the stage. Sam has been a part of the Bay Area theatre community since he was five. Notable roles include Daniel in Once On This Island, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and Angel in Rent. Sam attended Marin School of the Arts from 2011-2015 where he studied Musical Theatre. Over that time he has appeared in many studio nights, performing both contemporary and classic songs to acclaim. Sam has worked with Broadway Dreams Foundation and Transcendence Theatre Company to help spread the beauty of music. Sam is an interpreter of the works of Stephen Sondheim, Jason Robert Brown, Adam Guettel, and Michael John LaChiusa. Sam will be attending New York University, Tisch next year to study theatre at the Playwrights Horizons studio, where Sunday In the Park With George and Grey Gardens ran.

    graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Music in composition. He has lived in Los Angeles, New York, Denver, and the San Francisco area, where he has worked extensively in theatre, television, and recording, as composer, arranger, orchestrator, and musical director. Scott has nine published musicals, including Western Star; A Boy Called Lizard (Winner of AATE American Alliance for Theatre and Education for Distinguished Play Award and Best Adaptation) and Yo Ho Ho (A Pirate's Christmas). Scott also collaborated on an award winning musical, The Ghost & Mrs. Muir as well as Dorian, Pest Control, The Thief, and Insanity, all of which have been produced in Los Angeles in the last seven years. As musical director and accompanist he has worked with numerous Broadway performers and Tony Winners. Scott currently lives in San Rafael where he and his very talented wife, Kristine, run a performing arts program. Visit academy-deturk.com for more information.
