This is her first Act V production and lead role in a musical. In her free time, Gillian enjoys hiking, riding horses and enjoying the outdoors. • Mackenzie Brouse head shot

    Mackenzie Brouse

    as Wednesday

Mackenzie Brouse is a freshman studying English Secondary Education with a minor in theatre. "The Addams Family" is Mackenzie’s 16th performance in a musical production over the span of a decade, but it is the first production she has done at the collegiate level. Mackenzie will be playing the role of Wednesday Addams, a character that smiles much less than she typically does, but she is excited to have the opportunity to play the role. Mackenzie’s favorite roles from past experience were the parts, The Witch in "Into the Woods," Stepsister Joy in "Cinderella," and Veruca Salt in "Willy Wonka," all proving a love for playing a more sinister character. During her first year of college Mackenzie has become involved in several organizations; she is a member of Shippensburg’s Honors Program, Madrigal Singers, Concert Choir, Act V Productions, a female vocalist for the Jazz ensemble, and one of next season’s drum majors for the Shippensburg Red Raider Marching Band.
