Keith and Delia established a part and full-time College in 1978, in Johannesburg under the name of "Dance Workshop."

The College expanded and moved in 1986 before relocating to Cape Town in 1992 under the new name of "The Waterfront Theatre School."  The college now overlooks Cape Town’s prestigious V&A Waterfront. It boasts nine studios, 3 private lesson rooms, 3 costume stores, a cafeteria, an extensive workshop and serviced accommodation for 20 full-time students. There is a resident staff of 13 teachers, plus regular professional guest teachers.

All teachers and lecturers are fully internationally qualified, and the courses are registered through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London and Trinity Guildhall of London. This ensures that all qualifications issued by the Waterfront Theatre School and College are transferable and recognized worldwide.

Teachers are involved in ongoing professional productions both nationally and internationally.
