Silver Creek Performing Arts

 Crew Who's Who

  • Adam West

    Director

Adam has always loved the stage and a good spotlight.  He began acting on stage in elementary school and has played many roles in plays, variety shows, and festivals.  In high school, he began writing and directing shows such as “Solo, So Low, Sold Out” and “Battlecry.” Upon graduating, he also co-directed “Little Shop of Horrors,” for his Alma Mater. Adam spent about a decade as an aspiring rapper, performing all over the Las Vegas and Salt Lake areas and being filmed by MTV (Say What? Karaoke), BET (Rap Competition), and ESPN (Freestyle Rap Battle runner-up).  In college he joined the “Brand X” Comedy Troupe at BYU and continued to develop his physical comedy skills. After college he spent 5 years teaching elementary school and each day he enjoyed performing for a captive audience of about 25 children. Now he is an attorney where he uses his stage training and experience to enhance his work in the courtroom.

  • Tawnie West

    Director

Although Tawnie began with acting, her love of the technical side of theater began in High School and has continued through today.  With starring roles in many productions (A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream, Improv Shows & more), she then stage managed several productions.  She was an Honor Bar Thespian and President of her chapter. At BYU she majored in Psychology and minored in Theater and did tech and writing for a comedy troupe (Brand X Comedy). She also co wrote and directed several productions for her Singles Ward.  In graduate school at UNLV she studied secondary education for English, Psychology and Theater where she had the opportunity to study lighting for professional level productions and many other technical theater aspects. There she worked on several professional level productions.  Tawnie is thrilled to have the opportunity to direct this production of Newsies.

  • Steve Mills

    Director

Steve has been involved in theater one way or another for most of his life. He has lost count count of how many plays he has directed... from musicals to murder mysteries, Shakespeare to comedy, outdoor pageants and beyond. Steve says he loves what good theater can do to build people up and make them better. "It's my way to serve the community." He is the president of Silver Creek Little Theater.
