Dr. A. Nickolus Bell

Director/Light Designer/Audio Engineer

Dr. A. Nickolus Bell is proud to direct The True Story. With over 27 years of theater experience, Dr. Bell LOVES what he does. He has been a director, assistant director, stage manager, actor, singer, and dancer for countless productions including The Hypocrites, Fences, The Wiz, Hairspray, Once on This Island, and Annie. As a multitalented artist, he is a gifted painter utilizing acrylic and oil paint, as well as a photographer. 

An educator by calling and profession, Dr. Bell has been teaching Special Education English for the last 12 years, and is currently a tenured member of the faculty at Hempstead High School. 

He holds a B.S, a M.A., a M.Ed, and a Th. D.

Additionally, he serves as the Assistant Pastor of Restoration House of Power in Queens, NY, and is currently a candidate for the Episcopacy, as the Archbishop- Designate of the See of St. John the Beloved within Resurgence Unlimited. 

Sister's Circle, Inc

Sister's Circle, Inc is a community gospel theater group that has been performing faith based plays up and down the eastern seaboard of the United States for 40 years. Founded by three sisters, Agnes Armstrong, Elain L. Petry, and Lucille Price, Sister's Circle, Inc has used the arts as a tool to save souls and deal damage to the kingdom of darkness.

The 27 year old self taught makeup artist, who started her own Business at 19, named Amavé Makeup LLC. She is a first generation college graduate as of May 2020 with her Bachelors degree in Psychology from York College in Queens NY. She also has completed her state licensing in Esthetics from New York institute of Beauty on Long Island in October 2022. Sarah serves on the Praise Team, Youth Department and Women’s Department at Perfecting Faith Church in Freeport NY. In all of that, she still finds time to have fun and make memories with family and friends.

She is excited to venture into a new space of directing and looks forward to more opprotunities with Gospel on Stage.
