Skyline High School Theatre

  Skyline Theatre Honor

Skyline High School Theatre was nominated by the American High School Theatre Festival to perform in Edinburgh, Scotland for an international festival called The Fringe.  The American High School Theatre Festival runs in conjunction with The Fringe Festival under the umbrella of the world-renowned Edinburgh International Festival, the world’s largest performing arts festival- held each August in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is widely acknowledged to be the biggest arts festival in the world.  Every year thousands of performers take to a multitude of stages all over Edinburgh to present shows for every taste. From big names in the world of entertainment to unknown artists looking to build their careers, the festival caters for everyone and includes theatre, comedy, dance, physical theatre, musicals, operas, music, exhibitions and events.

High school theatre programs are nominated by state, regional, and national theatre organizations, as well as university theatre professors, to participate in AHSTF.  The top high school programs are identified based on their most recent bodies of work, awards, community involvement, philosophies, and recommendations. Skyline Theatre is honored to represent Ann Arbor Public Schools, the Ann Arbor community and the state of Michigan at the 2018 AHSTF.
