The Infinity Wings - June 06 - June 07, 2015

Soul Arts Academy

 LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Dear Friends,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our production of The Infinity Wings. This show marks the first full-scale performance of Soul Arts Academy.

Whether onstage, behind the scenes, in tech, or in the studios our students are learning from those who set high expectations of them, not only in talent but also in character. We are very fortunate to have such a generous, hardworking and talented team leading the way as we nurture the passion for creating experiential art.

It has been a joy to witness the community collaborating day after day for the past many months as we teach our children through example, the importance of teamwork and commitment.  I could not be more proud of our dedicated and talented faculty members and students.  They have worked tirelessly over the past many months, often from different locations, often at different times, with many moving parts. It is because of their efforts, and their families unwavering support, that we are able to bring this original show to life.  Forever, you will be known as the debut Soul Arts Academy Performing Company.

Thank you for joining us this evening.  We appreciate your commitment to the Arts and we are honored to know that we will all come away from this experience with memories and lessons to last a lifetime.

With love and gratitude,

Rosie Lanziero

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

My gratitude to Gina & Walter Goldman, Marion & Mark Howard, Scott & Kimberly Resnick, Laurie and Josh Harrison – without your generosity and support, our production, as you will see it, would not have been possible.   Heartfelt thanks to 440 Studios, Michael Burke at LaMama, Whole Foods, Djassi DaCosta Johnson and Corrado Verini, Nina Zoie Lam, all the parents, relatives, family friends and caregivers who get the young dancers to class weekly. You prove it really does take a village.  To my teaching artists who go FAR beyond the call of duty to make Soul Arts what it is:   I love and appreciate you more than words can say.  To my daughter Olivia - my right hand gal.  I love you to the moon and back.  And to my friends (you know who you are) who are always there for me as I see my visions and dreams through, and especially Alyson Palmer - my friend, my teammate, my support system, MY MUSE.
