Carolyn Higdon

as Alexandria Giovanni

Carolyn is delighted to take the stage beside one of her greatest mentors and friends on the stage she calls her home.  Some of her most memorable credits include Gypsy, Hairspray, The Glass Menagerie, Twelth Night, Nunsense and The Wiz.  She has also directed A Raisin in the Sun alongside the late Tyra Yarber, Acts of God and wrote and directed Growing Up: A Musical Theatre Showcase.  Carolyn feels abundantly blessed to share her love of the Arts with the Community she adores and cherishes.  She is thankful to her family that is a constant supporter of not only her Art but great Arts supporters within our community.

Danika Foley

as Narrator

Danika Foley is News Director and Talk Show Host at KWBJ TV 22. She hosts the station’s daily news talk show, The Voice of the Coast with Danika. She is an avid supporter and advocate of community issues; she serves as a charter member of the organization, Hoodstock, a board member with Teche Theatre for the Performing Arts and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Franklin-Jeanerette Alumnae chapter. As part of her professional and personal development endeavors, she joined St. Mary Toastmasters. She is a graduate of Loyola University at New Orleans and subsequently joined the third alumni class of graduates from Leadership St. Mary. In 2018, Danika was named Role Model of the Year by St. Mary Community Foundation. She is also the founder of the Facebook blog and brand, ibedamned-blog where she co-hosts, Carpool Conversations.  She was recently seen on stage in the Teche Theatre's To Kill a Mockingbird as Calpurnia.
