Dear Cast:
I am SO very proud of your hard work and dedication to make our Musical Theatre program stronger than it has ever been. You have taken the reins in many areas, and truly CREATED this show! YOU built sets, designed tickets, made posters, choreographed, gathered props, brainstormed costumes, and made this YOUR show! This has been one of my very best experiences at SCHS: knowing that my babies are learning and growing and taking responsibility; becoming stronger individuals professionally AND personally warms my heart to no end.
It is with a mixture of pride and sadness with which we reach the end of this show season. I will miss all you every day, and most of all will miss you AS A GROUP. I hope that you feel the sense of family and pride that I feel within this cast. Remember it, and carry it with you each day.

Dear Cast and Crew,
I am very proud of the work you have accomplished this semester. You started off as a “bunch of students” and have now truly become a family. You have laughed together, cried together, argued with each other, and supported each other. Each of you has grown immensely as actors, technicians, stage managers, and individuals. I can honestly say that this is the most cohesive group I have worked with in my time at SCHS, and I hope that you know how truly talented, funny, intelligent, and creative you all are, and how much you mean to both Ms. Smiley and me.
To the Class of 2015, make your mark on the world. Remember that every interaction you have with others is an opportunity to build a bridge toward your goal, so be kind. IT’S OKAY TO FAIL: that’s how we learn. Keep your eyes fixed on where you want to get to, but do not miss chances to enjoy those in your peripheral vision who are with you every step of the way. It’s been thrilling to watch you come into yourselves, and I look forward to hearing and seeing what you become. Go get yo’ life!
