Shawn Kidd

Director/Set Designer

Shawn is happy to be collaborating again with the SoJo Arts Council! He directed the SJAC production of The Sound of Music in 2019 and Once Upon a Mattress in 2021. He is a choir and theatre teacher at SoJo Middle School. When not directing musicals, Shawn enjoys remodeling projects, going to the gym, and playing the piano. He and his wife, Cristine have five children.
Tara Jo Richardson

Choreographer

Tara is a Utah-based choreographer, dancer and dance educator with more than 15 years of experience. She has a Bachelor of Science in Dance Education from UVU. She has a passion for choreography and has choreographed for many theater and dance productions all over Utah and Salt Lake Counties. Tara hopes that the audience enjoys watching this fun production as much as she enjoyed bringing to life through movement.
Kevin Van Noy

Stage Manager

Kevin is excited to be working with South Jordan Arts again. He was on the backstage running crew for The Sound of Music in 2019 and was upgraded to stage manager for their next production Once Upon A Mattress in 2021. Kevin just graduated from Bingham High and is so excited for whatever comes next in life.
Emma Powell

Assistant Stage Manager

Emma has done theater for over 5 years and prefers to work backstage. Her recent set design for Bingham High's Clue won 1st place at State. Emma has been part of Cinderella Jr, Mary Poppins Jr, Children of Eden, Is He Dead?, Mamma Mia, Hamlet (the movie), Clue, and Catch Me If You Can. She loves to help put shows together and is grateful for the opportunities her teachers have given her.
Joshua Collings

Sound Technician

Joshua is excited to be part of The Music Man. He helped with sound design in Once Upon a Mattress and has learned a lot with the Bingham Theatre Company. He is excited to bring his new knowledge to The Music Man. Josh loves to bowl and do computer programming. He would like to thank all that have supported and helped him in his pursuit of audio engineering.
