Jeff Catanese
Director
Jeff Catanese is a writer, director, actor and teacher who lives in Asheville. He is the Artistic Director of Attic Salt Theatre Company (atticsalt.org), founder of Asheville Theater Alliance (avltheater.org), and co-author of three drama education books for Scholastic, Inc. Recently, Jeff has directed Doubt for Mars Hill University and A Christmas Carol with The Montford Moppets. He will be directing his own modern adaptation of Miss Julie with Attic Salt Theatre Company in September.

Cary Nichols
Stage Manager
Cary has been on stage, back stage or front of house around WNC for almost 30 years. From leading lady to character driven ensemble, costume designer to seamstress, prop designer to vomit wrangler (it's a real thing, I promise), and run crew & board ops to stage manager. When she isn't performing one of these roles, she can be found supporting theater from the audience.

Claire Daniel
Assistant Stage Manager/Master Electrician
Claire is thrilled to be back at SART this season. In this production, she served as Lighting Designer. She has also worked as Master Electrician, Sound Designer, Carpenter & ASM this season. She's had many different roles with SART over the years, but her favorite was as Lighting Designer for Hunchback of Notre Dame. Recently she worked on shows at Little Theatre of Winston Salem for Feeding Beatrice as the Stage Manager! She is Greensboro-based but has worked everywhere! She can be seen working in theatres all over Asheville, NC in various roles like Stage Managing, Lighting Design, Master Electrician, and Sound Design. Her latest design work was for 9 to 5 at Mars Hill University & Daddy Long Legs at Asheville Musical Theatre. She also has been working at Land of Oz for the last 5 years! She hopes everyone enjoys the show!
