Hello, I am Patrick Watkins, the theatre director at Spanish River and your captain this evening.
First off, we would like to thank our administration and everyone in the office for helping us order everything we need and supporting us in these difficult times for the arts. Many thanks to our technical director Guy Haubrich for all his work and expertise. He has really helped everything go smoothly and get finished up in a timely manner.
Thanks to all the amazing students in the cast and those who helped Mr. Haubrich and myself finish the set, sound, lights, costumes, makeup, props, promotion and advertising.
Special thanks to my assistant director Kate Doherty. And thank you you to my stage manager Sophia Rocha and the all the assistant stage managers.
And thank you parents, friends and family for all your support, help and donations.
Lastly, thank you to the Davidowitz Family for a generous donation last year that allowed us to pay for this years shows. And thank you to the PTSA for donating the funds to allow us to get new microphones and antennas in time for our spring musical.
