Maisha’s creative and professional resume spans from actor to writer, producer and director. Enjoying a career encompassing commercials, stage, and screen, Maisha has performed with Ujima Theater, Irish Classical Theatre Company, Alleyway Theatre, New Worlds Theater, HarlemStage, Theater for the New City, New Federal Theatre and The National Black Theater. Her award winning directorial work has been featured in several festivals including, The Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival, The Oscar Micheaux Film Festival, The San Francisco Black Film Festival, The Urban MediaMakers Film Festival, and London International Filmmakers Festival. In 2021, Maisha was selected as an Arts for L.A. Innovator for her work with her non-profit organization, Urban Artivist Academy, which cultivates cultural sensitivity in young actors and writers committed to utilizing film and television media as a platform for social justice.

Jolien Louis, a New York native now based in Los Angeles, is a production designer and MFA graduate from the American Film Institute. Her passion for spectacle fuels her work in crafting realms of magical realism, fantasy, and science fiction. As a versatile freelance artist, Jolien's expertise spans art direction, concept modeling, and graphic design, enriching her own projects and collaborations with independent filmmakers and established commercial clients alike. Selected for Issa Rae's Color Creative FYPP cohort in 2023, she's committed to diverse representation in filmmaking.
