Sarah Aptilon
Spinning Tree: Teen Writers Fest '24. Sarah is thrilled to return this year as a mentor playwright. Her plays have been produced and developed by The Living Room Theatre, Kansas City Public Theatre, Midwest Trust Center, Johnson County Community College, The Fishtank, Potluck Productions and Rising Tide Productions. Sarah is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Johnson County Community College, where she teaches courses on world religions, Asian religions, and Japanese culture.

Spinning Tree: Debut. Miss in the premiere of The Neverland Project and Poor Ensemble in Urinetown (Olathe South High School). Upcoming: Pirates of Penzance March 6-8 (Olathe South). "I have a charity called Kick Cancer Like A Girlboss where I donate custom Converse to kids going through many different health challenges."

Spinning Tree: Debut. Credtis include: Darrel in The Outsiders; Ensemble for The Election; dramaturg for Everyone (Blue Valley North High School). Gabe is currently working set for Chicago: Teen Edition (Blue Valley North). Hobbies include reading, writing, playing video games, and hiking.
