Director's Notes:
What an incredible experience this has been! Everyone has worked so hard and it shows. Beauty and the Beast is not a simple or easy show and it is amazing to see the capabilities of our students. I would like to give a giant thank you to the parents who have dedicatledly brought their students to and from practices. I would also like to thank the amazing staff at Spratley for making this possible. Mr. Veator has kindly built our sets, and Ms. Waite and Ms. Smith have helped to create and paint. Ms. Newberry truly made this show possible; organizing the finances for a show is complicated and she is willing to help with anything without a single complaint! Finally, to the entire cast, thank you so much for your many hours of patience, hard work, and practice that went into this show!
I would also like to acknowlege our 8th graders. I don't know what I will do without them next year!
Christopher O'Keefe- Thank your for taking on a lead role in your first show ever! BEST Beast ever!
Madeleine Parr- Your talent is amazing. I am so glad that I got to work with you for two years; you are truly irreplacable.
Ethan Alfonso- I am so glad that you decided to do this show! Your confidence and ease onstage is phenomenal!
William Charles- You are very talented and I hope you plan to continue singing and acting!
Toni Kegley- Another one who I only got to have for a year! I wish I got to spend another year getting to know you and your amazing talent. Thank you for being a wonderful addition to our cast and the chorus here.
Astrid Cain- Thank you for being awesome (and for keeping my room clean and organized!!) I don't know what I'm going to do without you next year!
Jada Hardy- I am so glad you decided to do the show this year! Having you in chorus has been phenomenal and I love your powerful voice!!
Fiona Companion- Thank you for being a rock in the cast for the past two years. You are a strong leader and have helped to keep our big numbers together!
Trinity McMillan- Your growth within the past two years has been amazing! You have shown so much confidence this year and I hope you keep growing and shining.
Sarah Wright- You are a pleasure to work with! Thank you for being willing to do whatever I ask and taking it in stride. You are phenomenally talented and I love how confident you are becoming.
Gabrielle Sadowski- I am so glad I got to meet you this year! You have a wonderful stage presence and have helped to bring the Silly Girls to life.
Maggie Root- directing with you has been awesome! It was wonderful to watch you become more and more excellent at what you do!
Sara Grove-Thank you for bringing your amazing costume making and organizational skills to our show this year! We could not have done it without you.
Lily Lambert- Thank you for being willing and able to do any kind of crazy task I assign you!! Your help this year is very, very appreciated.
Camielle Wilson- Your assistance the past two years has been wonderful. You are great at keeping backstage organized and being prepared for whatever a show throws at you. THANK YOU!
Alyssa Jemmot- Thanks for joining this year! Your creativity has been veryr appreciated.
Abigail Leyva- Thanks for basically spending your whole school year in my classroom even though you don't even have a class with me! Also, HUGE THANK YOU for the AWESOME cover design!
Kassidie Sheets- You helped without ever being asked and dedicated so much time to making things for this show. Also, you are an amazing muscian- keep it up!
Kyra Reed- I am so glad you moved here and came to Spratley! I enjoyed getting to know you!
Chloe Walker- Thank you for bringing your artistic ideas to our show! I am glad you decided to be part of our team this year.
Davalyn Taylor- I am so glad you decided to join chorus and help with the play this year. You have become such an important piece in our team.
Iliana Santiago- It's crazy how ast you learned how to run the lights! You have a very natural gift for it. I will definitley be tracking you down to help out next year!
Imani Joyner- You are another student who is so willing to do ANYTHING. You are assinged one job, but are willing to do anything and everything that we need!
Alyssa-Jo Lemley- Your help has been so appreciated this year. You are so talented at make-up!
Audrey Ronsonet- QUEEN OF SOUND! Thank you for running the complicated sound board WHENEVER I ask you to!
