Jazmine is a rising Freshman at UNCG, pursuing a BA within their acting program. Jazmine is so excited to take on her first lead role here at Spring! Jazmine has been involved with many other community theatre shows at High Point Community Theatre, Winston-Salem Theatre Alliance, and even Spring Theatre's own Lock-in and Seasons Screenings. Her love of theatre originally derived from her involvement in dance, which she has been crafting since the age of 3. Jazmine is excited take the stage as Tracy with such a talented cast and amazing crew.

Morrissia Ravenell
as Motormouth Maybelle
Morrissia started her theatre journey in 2019 in the ensemble for Memphis the Musical. She has always loved to sing, and has always been “a character” in everyday life, so she finally took that leap into the theatre world. Her singing accolades include doing background vocals and studio work with multiple Gospel recording artists. She has had multiple ensemble and supporting roles, including Miss Gardner in Carrie the Musical. She also landed leads by playing Oda Mae in Ghost the Musical, as well as portraying Billie Holiday in Heavenly Blues and Jumpin’ Jazz. Morrissia is so excited to portray such a vibrant character such as Motormouth Maybelle in Spring Theatre’s Hairspray and can't wait to see what her future has in store.

Sterling Hart-Peck
as Corny Collins
Sterling is a rising junior in Westen Carolina University’s BFA acting program. She’s so thrilled to be in this show and to also be the prop master for a project so fun. You might have last seen Sterling as Whatsername in Theatre Alliance’s American Idiot, as well as the Sour Kangaroo in Spring Theatre’s Seussical. Sterling wants to thank this incredible cast and crew for being such a joy to work with and hopes you enjoy the show!
