Director's Note:
I don't have many words to say other than THANK YOU. None of this could have been possible without the amazing parents, cast, crew, and my directorial team. The thought of directing a musical in the middle of a pandemic was very scary but we did it!
As I continue with my teaching career, this is going to be a year I will never forget. It has taught me to step outside of my comort zone and learn ideas and concepts I would have never imagined. It has made me become acquainted with the wonderful arts community that is right here in Savannah.
On that note I want to say a few specific thank yous:
To my family: Your support means so much to me from over ten hours away. Thank you for always picking up my calls and helping me. I wish you could come to Savannah to watch the show in person but I know you're all having a wonderful viewing party in Pennsylvania!
Anne Weisel: Thank you for your constant support with anything I do. I am always appreciative of being able to come into your office and work through problems and solutions.
To the lovely Upper School and Middle School Assistants: This show could not happen without you all. Thank you for your dedication to this show and hours of volunteering. You're all great role models to our young students and I'm very grateful for all of your hard work.
To the parents: There truly aren't enough thank yous for you all. I've sent more emails to you all during these last few months than I did the entire last school year (atleast it feels like that). Thank you for following along and being on this crazy journey with us!
To the cast: Thank you for your hard work! You're all truly wonderful and have made things so much easier for me. Your flexibilty has been much appreciated and your willingness to go with the flow! I'm so excited to see the final production!
To STARS: Again, there are not enough thank yous. Thank you for your constant support of the Fine Arts program and always being there to help with anything we need. You all rock!
Lastly, to Marie Arntsen and Caroline Fonseca: I quite literally could not have done this without you. Thank you so much for your hard work on this show. We knew it wasn't going to be easy but we certainly did the thing and I'm so proud of the outcome. You ladies rock!
Enjoy the show, and don't forget to "Let it Go!"
