Director’s notes: 

Do you have a “special place” that brings back memories, both good and bad?  A spot where you return when you need to ponder life or rediscover a happier time?  A place that you want to share with others because it meant so much to you? 

I’m sure we all have these places, both near and far, and that’s why this play speaks to all of us.  That “special” place may be shared by many others, but we each have a unique relationship with it, which truly makes it “OUR PLACE.”    

I hope you enjoy discovering why the setting of a simple dock is important to all the characters within this endearing play.  We have definitely enjoyed performing it for you!
