Josiah Haan

Director, Costume Designer, Co-Scenic Designer

Josiah Haan is the Artistic Director for Young People's Theatre and is ecstatic for people to experience this production of Shrek! Josiah had the honor of directing and co-designing this magical show. He wants to thank every single person involved in the show, on and off stage, for making this such a special experience.
Suzanne Salmo

Music Director

Suzanne Salmo is in her 11th year as Music Director for Young People’s Theatre. She has over 45 years of experience as a pianist, church musician, and pit member. Suzanne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked at United Services for Children for 28 years. Her children, Anna and Andrew, are alums of YPT. She would like to thank her kids and her husband, Paul, for their tremendous support and their love of theater!
Abby Turner

Choreographer

Abby Turner is thrilled to be a part of this production of Shrek. Abby recently graduated with a degree in Theater Education from SIUE. Next year, she will be working at Gateway Stem Academy High School as the Theatre & Speech teacher. Some previous credits include Annie Jr. (Director), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife), Matilda (Choreographer), Anastasia (Choreographer), Finding Nemo Jr. (Director/Choreographer), and Honk Jr (Director/Choreographer).
Ryne Halstead

Co-Scenic Designer, Technical Director, Stage Manager

Ryne is a junior at Lindenwood University and is pursuing a BFA in Entertainment and Production Design with an emphasis in Scenic Design. He has worked professionally at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis as a Props Artisan and a Carpenter for Stages STL.
